It's been a busy few days.  Flu injections, visit to Bucklers Hard last weekend, and just general bits and pieces and catching up.  I have been swimming.  Monday was a total disaster, Tuesday moderately ok, but Thursday was fine and managed 40 lengths - finally.

Thursday evening was the oil painting live session and as usual it was pretty frenetic.  I was not too pleased with what I did, but I did like the subject.  I had another go yesterday on a small canvas

 I was reasonably pleased with this and today had another go, but on a larger board.  So far I have just done half because after spending a lot of time on the surrounding trees, I had lost the concentration to do the difficult bit of the rocks.  Tomorrow is another day.

We had new blinds put in the conservatory on Friday and they have certainly made a difference.  Tomorrow the plumber starts on the bathroom.  Fingers crossed he starts early and finishes before the end of the week.

Covid injections on Tuesday.   Hope I'm not too unwell.  Stilll waiting for results of blood test.

Should be helping out with the still life at IWAC but it clashes with Daniel's visit and also Henry's visit to the vet.  I will have to go over to Newport on Tuesday to rearrange the date.

Haven't done much morning plein air sketching because the weather has now definitely moved into autumn.  Cool and very damp (if not drizzle and rain).  So I will now only do those mornings where all is well for me!
