A few things have been going on and I missed the chance to update. Daniel and Beatrice came to stay for a few days. We visited Newport (bit grim there), went to Quarr Abbey and even went swimming. It was really wonderful to see them. We even played some board games - not that Perry is a dab hand at that!
We had our flu jabs, and the following week we were supposed to have our Covid vaccine, but the pharmacist had only had a delivery of the equipment not the vaccine! So that was delayed a fortnight. Had the jab last Thursday and felt terrible for about 36 hours. Thank goodness we hadn't had the combined jab!
Have done a little bit of painting - not nearly enough. Excuses are visitors, jabs etc. etc. New blinds in conservatory, and new bathroom fitted. In fact no really good excuses.
Perry made a stand where I can dry and display my oil paintings. In fact he made four of them. Very useful. I also did a couple of oil sketches
I did go to the club of Tuesday for an oil demo. We haven't had an oil demo for ages. It was quite good. Also went to Priory on Wednesday and have been trying to keep up the swimming. Also done some smaller watercolour and gouache sketches. No outdoor painting though because the weather is started to change and the mornings are a bit too damp. So really I should do more indoors.
